IT Risk and Controls Analyst 

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a IT Risk and Controls Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Chicago, Illinois. 
 
Duties:

• Perform process walkthroughs and documentation
• Monitor risk and control gap identification 
• Perform control design/testing discussions 
• Collaborate with IT and second/third line risk stakeholders 

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Strong understanding of IT Risk and Control Testing
• Experience with process documentation and walkthroughs 
• Ability to assess and identify risks, suggest mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of control design and effectiveness testing 
• SOX compliance familiarity 
• Critical thinking and ability to work independently
• Comfortable being embedded in a 1st line of defense IT environment
• Excellent communication and ability to "read between the lines" 
• Familiarity with GRC tools
• Experience with Tripwire, Varonis, or similar monitoring tools 
• Prior experience in a highly regulated banking or financial environment

The approximate pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $70.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
