Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
 
Duties:

• Create tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched
• Identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them
• Pay attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement
• Develop new tests to run, run the tests, and document the results
• Collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 3+ years of experience working in manual testing understanding project documents and product objectives to create and execute test cases
• 2+ years experience in POS Testing
• 1+ years experience using ticketing tool like JIRA
• Hands on experience of using test inventory for release and test management
• Basic knowledge of any programming language and process management methodology
• Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools
• Strong knowledge and experience in various types of testing such as: Regression, Integration, End to End and Sanity
• Ability to recognize risks and errors in an application
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to keep current with the constantly changing technology industry
• A passion for testing, development, and design
• POS Testing Electronic payment testing with API testing experience

The approximate pay range for this position is between $33.00 and $53.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
