Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support their technology modernization initiatives focused on migrating digital applications to public cloud environments. This individual will be responsible for application performance optimization, monitoring strategy, cloud migration support, service reliability improvements, and troubleshooting complex enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong DevOps, cloud, application support, and performance engineering experience, along with expertise supporting large-scale web and mobile applications. Candidates should be comfortable working across development, infrastructure, and support teams to improve application stability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support their technology modernization initiatives focused on migrating digital applications to public cloud environments. This individual will be responsible for application performance optimization, monitoring strategy, cloud migration support, service reliability improvements, and troubleshooting complex enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong DevOps, cloud, application support, and performance engineering experience, along with expertise supporting large-scale web and mobile applications. Candidates should be comfortable working across development, infrastructure, and support teams to improve application stability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Review and optimize application performance across web and mobile platforms
- Analyze application behavior and traffic patterns to provide forecasting and capacity planning recommendations
- Design, implement, and enhance monitoring solutions for support and operations teams
- Improve service availability, reliability, and operational performance
- Support cloud migration planning, validation, and execution activities
- Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues and identify root causes
- Configure, tune, maintain, and support enterprise application environments
- Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Support CI/CD processes and DevOps toolchains
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, architecture, and operations teams
- Monitor and optimize application health in cloud and hybrid environments
- Support production and pre-production environments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, scalability, and automation
- 5+ years of DevOps, Application Support, Systems Engineering, or related experience
- Strong experience with application performance tuning and optimization
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise web and mobile applications
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with monitoring, diagnostics, and observability tools
- Experience supporting cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience with Java Spring Boot APIs
- Experience supporting React-based front-end applications
- Experience working with relational databases
- Experience supporting production environments and critical business applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
- Experience with cloud migration projects
- Experience supporting customer-facing digital applications
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members
- Experience working within financial services or highly regulated environments

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $51.00 and $61.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
