Our Energy & Utilities client is seeking a AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team! This position is based in Oakland, California, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite work once per week. Remote candidates within the PST time zone may also be considered.

Our Energy & Utilities client is seeking a AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team! This position is based in Oakland, California, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite work once per week. Remote candidates within the PST time zone may also be considered.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for OpenText xECM platforms using Infrastructure as Code
- Support and manage containerized environments running on EKS/Fargate and EC2
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and infrastructure upgrades
- Install and support xECM/OpenText components within enterprise environments
- Troubleshoot platform, infrastructure, and integration-related issues across AWS and document management systems
- Collaborate with technical leads, offshore teams, and cross-functional deployment teams during sprint planning and releases
- Support modernization efforts involving Terraform migration, microservices, and infrastructure improvements
- Develop automation scripts, monitoring solutions, and deployment documentation/runbooks
- Strong AWS DevOps experience
- Hands-on experience with EKS/Kubernetes and Fargate
- Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Containerization experience with Docker
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure and deployments in AWS
- Ability to work independently in a hands-on technical environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with OpenText xECM or Documentum
- Experience supporting enterprise content management platforms
- SAP or SAP S/4HANA integration exposure
- Python scripting or automation experience
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Monitoring and observability tools experience (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Linux administration experience

- Location: Oakland, CA
- Hybrid schedule — onsite 1 day per week preferred
- Open to fully remote PST candidates
- Must be available during PST business hours (8 AM – 5 PM PST)
- Small collaborative team environment with offshore support and sprint planning participation
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $48.00 and $68.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
