Job Summary
Our client, a leading consumer products provider, is seeking a Material Planner & Support professional to join their team! This is a 12-month contract with potential to extend. This position is open to remote candidates, with preference for candidates who can work hybrid in either Neenah, WI or Roswell, GA. The Material Planner will support finished goods production and help manage costs through the development and execution of efficient supply chain strategies. This role will be responsible for ordering materials for production sites, maintaining accurate planning information, coordinating with vendors, and supporting logistics and supply chain projects.

Our client, a leading consumer products provider, is seeking a Material Planner & Support professional to join their team! This is a 12-month contract with potential to extend. The Material Planner will support finished goods production and help manage costs through the development and execution of efficient supply chain strategies. This role will be responsible for ordering materials for production sites, maintaining accurate planning information, coordinating with vendors, and supporting logistics and supply chain projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute material requirement plans to ensure supplies and work-in-process availability support production schedules
- Maintain accurate material planning information in SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse, updating information as needed for material and product changes
- Manage material changes to support business plans while minimizing obsolescence
- Coordinate material production with packaging and graphics timelines in partnership with Operations, Marketing, Planning, and Packaging teams
- Partner with vendors to coordinate schedules, establish priorities, and help prevent supply constraints or customer service issues
- Analyze planning information and supply chain data to support effective business decisions
- Support the execution and completion of special projects related to logistics and supply chain operations
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or high school diploma with strong relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze information, evaluate alternatives, and make effective decisions
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external vendors
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and ability to learn new technology and systems
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or familiarity with SAP or another ERP system
- Knowledge of material planning or material requirements planning
- Working knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
- Experience working with vendors or suppliers
- Interest or experience in data analytics
- Experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or similar supply chain planning tools
- Experience supporting production or manufacturing environments

- Location: Remote, with preference for candidates near Neenah, WI or Roswell, GA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM CST
- Contract Duration: 12 months with potential to extend
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $17.00 and $24.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
