Job Summary
Our client, a leading quick-service restaurant organization, is seeking an Operations Facilities Management Technician to join their team! This position is a 6-month contract located in Orlando, Florida and requires travel to multiple restaurant locations throughout the Orlando area.This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain restaurant kitchen equipment and building systems across assigned locations
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs in accordance with company standards
- Respond to emergency repair situations, including occasional nights and weekends
- Diagnose and repair equipment including fryers, ovens, exhaust hoods, walk-in refrigerators/freezers, and HVAC systems
- Process work orders, prioritize service requests, and coordinate site visits with restaurant operations teams
- Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies while ensuring accurate service documentation
- Conduct facility assessments, accessibility reviews, and compliance audits while documenting completed work
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, equipment repair, or field service environments
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial kitchen equipment
- Experience performing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building repairs
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple service requests across various locations
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding environments
- HVAC experience
- Refrigeration experience
- Restaurant equipment repair certifications
- Multi-unit restaurant maintenance experience
- Experience performing ADA accessibility reviews or facility compliance audits
- Inventory management and parts tracking experience
- Experience using Outlook, Excel, and maintenance tracking systems

- Location: Orlando, Florida
- Fully onsite with daily travel between restaurant locations in the Orlando market
- Must be available to support occasional after-hours emergency repairs
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $16.00 and $23.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
