Our client is seeking a Product Stewardship Specialist to join their team! This position supports product safety, chemical compliance, stewardship, and regulatory activities across a global product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a scientific background combined with experience managing chemical, ingredient, and regulatory information while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet applicable safety, stewardship, and compliance requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute product stewardship, product safety, and regulatory compliance deliverables across multiple business functions
- Maintain and manage chemical, ingredient, and product safety information within SAP EHS or similar database systems
- Prepare chemical reporting data, ingredient listings, and compliance assessments to support regulatory and sustainability requirements
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess potential impacts to products, materials, and business operations
- Support product safety, stewardship, and compliance activities throughout product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management
- Conduct hazard classification activities and support hazard communication documentation in accordance with GHS requirements
- Partner with Product Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance objectives are achieved
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related technical field with relevant experience
- Experience in Product Stewardship, Product Safety, Chemical Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or related disciplines
- Experience working with chemical, ingredient, or regulatory databases such as SAP EHS or similar systems
- Experience organizing and managing chemical safety, regulatory, ingredient, or product compliance data
- Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of toxicology or hazard assessment approaches
- Experience supporting sustainability reporting initiatives
- Knowledge of green chemistry principles and safer alternatives assessments
- Experience with product lifecycle assessments
- Knowledge of GHS classification and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) generation
- Experience supporting consumer product safety and chemical management programs
- Experience working within multinational or global regulatory environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to represent deliverables across multiple business partners
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and data quality
- Ability to work effectively with diverse cross-functional and global teams
- Location: Neenah, WI preferred
- Remote candidates will be considered
- Standard schedule is 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT (Monday - Friday)
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $28.00 and $41.00 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
