Our Media and Entertainment client is seeking an Associate Account Executive (AAE) to support Account Executives within a leading media and entertainment organization. This role serves as a key sales support partner, helping drive revenue growth through new business development, client retention, and expansion of multimedia and addressable advertising solutions across a portfolio of media properties and domestic broadcast television networks. The ideal candidate will have experience in media sales, digital advertising, or account management and possess strong analytical, organizational, and client service skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide sales support for Account Executives (AE) within a leading media and entertainment organization.
- Focus on growing revenue by generating new business, retaining existing clients, and growing business across both multimedia and addressable products across a portfolio of media properties and domestic broadcast television networks.
- Understand key sales drivers for the total business (multimedia & addressable) and will drive accountability & clarity of account ownership within allocated customer relationship management platforms (ex. Salesforce) for both the AE & AAE
- Coordinate marketing & planning to answer RFPs, create pitches and respond to marketing briefs with sales comm, insights and marketing solutions teams
- Understand the total book of business (linear & digital) to identify new opportunities for their clients before an RFP is delivere
- Partner with Insights team to develop & coordinate qualitative information associated as part of pre-sale planning and deck completion
- Help coordinate and align with the planning team
- Prospect activities on new business (with supervisor approval)
- Be empowered to lead sales efforts on specific accounts (ex. build plans, pitch, and selling activities)
- Deliver white glove customer service to its clients/agency, working with marketing, ad ops and research teams to ensure that the campaign elements are delivered on in full.
- Preparation of deal memos & coordination of Playbooks for larger campaigns should be facilitated by the AAE, and weekly agency status calls or emails on ratings/reporting on campaigns may be led by the AAE.
- Coordination with ad ops on liability and campaign delivery is critical to ensure revenue is recognized.
- Check plans are booked in the system, confirmed schedules, alignment on CPMs and ensure all the sponsorship elements are getting executed.
- Work alongside the AE to ensure that a renewal of the deal is likely and/or that the client will want to continue to do business with the organization
- Coordinate with the sales comm & marketing teams on all recap sites/decks, as well as with research on any custom studies, EDO results or reporting
- Organize pulling of video clips to be shared with the agency and providing topline success stories as well (in some specific cases, the AAE might be required)
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience within Linear and/or Digital platforms
- Demonstrate proficiency in media math and analysis
- Ability to manipulate data for analysis and presentation
- Saleshub/Salesforce experience a strong plus
- Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes
- Problem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functions
- Understanding of how our clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needs
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to multi-task, make decisions and manage at entrepreneurial speed

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $47.00 and $52.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
