Our client is seeking a Consumer & Product PR Manager to join their team! They are looking for a strategic, organized media-savvy storyteller and creative strategist who can expertly manage product, consumer and creator program announcements with internal and external partners.

Our client is seeking a Consumer & Product PR Manager to join their team! They are looking for a strategic, organized media-savvy storyteller and creative strategist who can expertly manage product, consumer and creator program announcements with internal and external partners.
You will manage cross-functional projects, collaborate with agency partners, maintain a steady drumbeat of national PR initiatives, and find creative ways to turn press coverage into opportunities to drive awareness for a steaming platform's brand, mission and product offerings.
Core Responsibilities
- Support consumer news moments and a steady drumbeat of press coverage around product launches, seasonal moments, brand campaigns, and creator announcements
- Support the product narrative and feature announcements that deliver against the brand's promise and value propositions
- Manage consumer PR campaigns that illustrate fandoms and meets ownable cultural moments
- Support creative storyline campaigns leveraging insights/data to elevate the streaming platform brand
- Partner with the Creators team to provide support for the program, slates, and momentum
- Work cross functionally with team members in marketing, engineering, legal, product, social, creative, ad sales, publicity and more to ensure programs and campaigns are holistic
- Develop communications materials including messaging, media statements, press releases, and blog posts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new media (podcasts, newsletters etc.), national tech media, and lifestyle press
- Manage external agencies and drive meaningful, consistent consumer coverage in local and national press
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of proven communications experience; experience with product communications at consumer and technology companies are preferred
- Deep curiosity for culture, niche communities, and emerging trends, with a proven ability to connect those insights to product, creator and consumer initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to execute high impact strategic external communication plans and results
- Experience in managing complex issues and multiple priorities with sound judgment and adaptability
- Strong media relations experience and relationships with journalists
- Excellent writer and detail-oriented editor with knowledge of AP style
- Strategic storytelling with cultural awareness
- Cross-functional collaboration and relationship building

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $65.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
