Our client is seeking a Social Content Specialist to join their team! This position is Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois.
This role will support the creation of engaging, trend-driven social media content for well-known consumer brands. The ideal candidate is highly creative, comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, and passionate about storytelling through social platforms.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys creating platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social channels. Candidates with acting or theatre experience are highly encouraged to apply, even if they have lighter professional social media experience.

Core Responsibilities
- Create engaging, platform-native content across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Design static graphics and edit short-form video content aligned with brand strategy and social trends
- Participate in social content creation by appearing in videos, social posts, and brand storytelling initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to support campaigns and social strategy execution
- Stay current on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and content best practices
- Support development of social toolkits, templates, and creative briefs
- Monitor and engage with audiences across owned social channels using social management tools such as Sprinklr
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Escalate relevant trends, issues, or engagement opportunities to internal teams
- 2+ years of experience in social media content creation
- Strong graphic design and video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and CapCut
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content best practices
- Strong communication and copywriting skills
- Comfortable appearing on camera and participating in social video content
- Portfolio showcasing social content, design work, or creative campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field
- Acting or theatre experience/training
- Experience with community management and audience engagement
- Experience using social media management tools such as Sprinklr
- Bilingual Spanish skills

- Hybrid schedule – onsite 2 days per week in the Greater Chicago area.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on content needs or community escalations
- Travel up to 25% may be required for content capture, collaboration, or event support
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $20 and $25. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
