Logistics Analyst - Import/Export

Job Summary 
Our client is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our client located in St. Louis, MO! The Logistics Analyst will report onsite in a hybrid model and we are only seeking local candidates at this time. You will ensure import and export operations to meet compliance and customs requirements.

Core Responsibilities 

• Coordinate shipments, including scheduling deliveries and managing delivery appointments
• Negotiate freight rates from brokers and arrange shipments to meet delivery timelines and cost objectives
• Create invoices for supplier payments and generate invoices and export documentation to bill customers accurately and on time
• Support the management of inventory, including tracking movements, confirming quantities, and ensuring accurate system updates
• Communicate daily with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to ensure shipments are on track
• Troubleshoot delivery challenges and escalate issues appropriately
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation for shipments, invoices, and freight arrangements
• Support internal teams with logistics updates and inventory visibility
• Contribute to a culture of precision, collaboration and continuous improvement

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight forwarding or related fields is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and brokers
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, problem solve and follow tasks through to completion

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Knowledge of export logistics terminology (Vessel Bookings / INCO terms) and familiarity with international shipping documents a plus

Compensation & Benefits 

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50,000 and $59,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
