Entry-Level Financial Analyst

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri. 
 
Duties:

• Work with large data files provided by the business team and transfer information accurately between systems and databases
• Download supplemental data as needed and enter or upload information into internal databases
• Match entered data against Purchase Orders (POs) and reconcile against the General Ledger once available
• Analyze and reconcile accounts to identify discrepancies
• Prepare and annotate variance reports
• Support operating plans by assisting in the creation of financial forecasts and budgets
• Conduct research to understand accounting implications of alternative financial approaches
• Maintain accuracy and data integrity across financial records
• Communicate findings and analysis clearly to internal stakeholders

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 0+ years of experience in finance, accounting, business analysis, or data-related roles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with large data sets
• Understanding of basic accounting and finance principles
• Familiarity with Purchase Orders (POs) and General Ledger concepts
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to follow structured processes and workflows
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable asking questions and taking direction

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $45,000 - $50,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
