Our client is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Duties:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations
- Prepare and support payroll runs, including data entry, time and payroll inputs, and transaction processing
- Resolve employee payroll inquiries and system-wide payroll issues through ticketing systems and escalations
- Manage onsite payroll-related mail sorting and processing
- Assist with treasury and garnishment-related issues as assigned
- Support vendor audits by reviewing payroll data and ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Participate in payroll projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery
- Deliver high-quality customer service to employees and internal departments
- Review audit results, identify discrepancies, and support corrective actions
- Evaluate payroll procedures and systems and recommend process improvements
- May provide payroll training or guidance to internal clients and team members
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of relevant payroll or HR operations experience
- Working knowledge of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and record management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical and customer service skills with attention to detail
