Construction Coordinator
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Construction Coordinator to join their team! This position is located in Stratford, Connecticut.
Duties:
- Coordinate construction activities with internal teams, contractors, and field personnel to ensure smooth project execution
- Serve as the main point of contact for contractor scheduling, job coordination, and issue resolution
- Monitor safety, identify hazards, and take action to maintain a safe work environment
- Assign, schedule, and track construction work while ensuring efficient use of resources
- Create purchase requisitions, review project folders, and approve contractor invoices
- Track compliance requirements and maintain accurate project documentation
- Coordinate and monitor contractor-completed projects and support annual planning for Construction Services
- Participate in storm restoration efforts and respond to emergency callouts as needed
- Perform site visits and support additional special projects as assigned
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in construction coordination, logistics, operations, or a similar field
- Proficiency with computers, including strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel
- Supply chain or inventory management skills and experience working with materials, tracking, or field support operations
- Ability to work with flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment and adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong adaptability and comfort working in dynamic situations
- Experience in construction operations, contractor coordination, or field support environments

The approximate pay range for this position is between $25.55 and $36.50. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
