Our client, a leading energy and utilities organization, is seeking an Operations Specialist III to join their 24x7 Digital Control Center (DCC) team. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in St. Louis, MO supporting the monitoring, maintenance, and incident response of critical enterprise infrastructure. Our client, a leading energy and utilities organization, is seeking an Operations Specialist III to join their 24x7 Digital Control Center (DCC) team. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in St. Louis, MO supporting the monitoring, maintenance, and incident response of critical enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise networking experience, thrive in a fast-paced operations environment, and be comfortable supporting mission-critical infrastructure while working a rotating Panama shift schedule.
Key Details
- Initial onsite training will be 6–8 weeks on day shift before transitioning to the assigned Panama schedule
- Assignment is expected to extend based on performance
- Potential for full-time conversion, though not guaranteed
- Only local candidates will be considered
- Candidates previously interviewed or shortlisted for the prior requisition will not be considered
- One 60-minute Microsoft Teams interview
- Technical skills assessment
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise infrastructure, applications, and services using tools such as Dynatrace, OpsBridge, and Splunk
- Respond to infrastructure alerts, incidents, and service requests while meeting established SLAs
- Perform initial incident triage and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within ServiceNow
- Provide phone support through the Genesys queue, responding to infrastructure incidents and operational requests
- Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure including MPLS, Cisco, Nokia, SCADA, and Windows Server environments
- Execute routine operational tasks including backups, patching, and system health checks
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure timely issue resolution
- Maintain operational stability within a 24x7 Digital Control Center environment
- Participate in rotating 12-hour Panama shifts following completion of onsite training
- Strong enterprise networking experience with technologies such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience supporting infrastructure in a large enterprise environment
- Ability to quickly contribute with minimal onboarding or training
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise network and infrastructure issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Network Operations Center (NOC) or Command Center environment
- Willingness to participate in a phone support queue and provide outstanding customer service
- Windows Server administration experience
- Experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)
- Knowledge of data protection technologies
- Experience with:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $40.00 and $45.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
