Our client, a leading airline and travel services organization, is seeking a UX Principal App Designer to join their team. This role will be responsible for creating user-centered mobile application experiences, driving UX strategy, conducting research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and engaging digital products.
Key Details:
- Contract Type: W2 Contract
- Duration: 6 Months (07/08/2026 – 12/31/2026)
- Location: Fort Worth, TX
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday; Remote Monday & Friday)
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional Agile teams to define user stories, UX requirements, and design deliverables
- Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, interaction flows, and detailed design specifications
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions
- Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders using research findings and best practices
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure effective implementation of design solutions
- Maintain UX documentation including user flows, navigation structures, prototypes, and design patterns
- Manage project communications, status reporting, risks, and stakeholder alignment throughout the design lifecycle
- 3+ years of experience in UX design, interaction design, or a related discipline
- Experience designing native iOS and Android applications
- Proficiency with UX and prototyping tools such as Axure, Sketch, Zeplin, Flinto, and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research and usability testing
- Portfolio showcasing relevant UX design work and problem-solving approach
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, or a related field
- 5+ years of UX design or interaction design experience
- Experience creating scalable UX systems and enterprise application designs
- Strong information architecture and workflow design experience
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design methodologies
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and design reviews
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- User-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive design decisions
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Location: Fort Worth, TX
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday; Remote Monday & Friday)
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $60.00 and $73.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
