The ideal candidate has strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about using data and experimentation to drive product improvements.
Key Details
- Contract Type: Contract
- Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension)
- Work Location: Santa Monica, CA (preferred), or New York, NY, Seattle, WA, or Glendale, CA
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications serving millions of users
- Build new user experience features that improve customer engagement
- Develop and implement A/B testing experiments to optimize user experience and business outcomes
- Use data and experimentation results to drive product improvements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using test-driven development practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver new features
- Support research and development initiatives by rapidly prototyping and validating new ideas
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable web applications
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Experience developing modern front-end applications using component-based architectures
- Experience building high-performance applications that support large user bases
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or data-driven product development
- Experience writing automated tests and following test-driven development practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Experience developing applications for mobile or connected TV platforms
- Experience with Kotlin, Swift, or BrightScript
- Experience working on consumer-facing streaming, media, or subscription-based products
- Experience with experimentation platforms, analytics, or growth engineering initiatives
- Passion for building exceptional user experiences
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on experimentation and continuous improvement
- Strong attention to code quality and software engineering best practices
- Collaborative team player who enjoys knowledge sharing and mentoring
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Location: Santa Monica, CA (preferred), or New York, NY, Seattle, WA, or Glendale, CA
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is $52.00 and $75.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
