Our client is seeking a HR Service Desk to join their team! This position is located in Overland Park, Kansas.
Duties:
- Respond to a high volume of HR-related inquiries via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Support employees and managers with questions related to payroll, benefits, timekeeping, onboarding, performance management, learning systems, employee data, and manager self-service tools
- Utilize knowledge base and case management systems to research, document, and resolve cases effectively
- Troubleshoot functional and technical HR system issues to prevent delays and maintain data integrity
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while proactively communicating updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Educate employees on HR policies, procedures, and available self-service tools to promote independence and efficiency
- Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance service delivery and overall employee experience
- Create, update, and maintain documentation within the internal HR knowledge base
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in HR, HR support, shared services, or a customer service environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience handling high-volume inquiries across multiple channels
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and structured decision-making skills
- Experience working within an HR Service Center or Shared Services environment
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, case management tools, and knowledge base platforms
