Copy Writer

Job Summary 
Our client is seeking a Copy Writer to join their team! The preferred location for this role is hybrid in Richmond, Virginia. As a member of the Talent Marketing team, you’ll help craft the stories which shape the experiences held through work.
  
Core Responsibilities 

• Partner with the Talent Marketing team to create people-focused content through associate/expert interviews
• Drive the quality control loop, coordinating with legal, talent, and brand partners to move assets from draft to 'ready-to-post'
• Meet the goals of each project while making sure the tone and style stay consistent with our brand
• Write high-quality digital content that is clear, accessible and enjoyable to read
• Adapt your writing for different platforms and stages of the candidate journey, using SEO best practices to help us reach the right audience
• Stay curious about content trends and suggest new ways to bring associate stories to life
• Help us stay competitive by researching what others in the industry are doing well
• Champion high standards for our brand voice, focusing on simple language and consistent style

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 

• Bachelor's degree or military experience
• 1+ year experience in content creation, copywriting, communications, journalism or mass communications
• Strong writing skills

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) 

• 2+ years experience in long-form copywriting
• Experience with writing for SEO/knowledge of how to write so that searches are finding the content
• Experience in financial services, or other highly regulated industry

Compensation & Benefits 

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $24.00 and $33.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
