Job Summary 
Our client, a leading Financial Services provider is seeking a hands-on Data Lakehouse Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize our enterprise data infrastructure.

This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
 
Core Responsibilities 
  • Implement end-to-end data Lakehouse patterns using optimized storage formats and metadata-driven ingestion
  • Design and manage scalable, high-performance real-time and batch ingestion architectures
  • Integrate enterprise governance frameworks, ensuring complete data lineage, cataloging, and end-to-end auditability for regulatory compliance
  • Deliver analytics-ready data models that power downstream BI, reporting, customer extracts, and data science teams
  • Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines specifically tailored for data Lakehouse environments
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 
  • Deep expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, Snowflake, or cloud-native data platforms
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Azure Data Platform Services
  • Proficiency in Python and distributed processing engines like Spark
  • Proven experience with streaming and batch tools such as Kafka or Event Hubs
  • Solid background working with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or DB2
  • Practical experience with data cataloging and compliance tools, preferably Collibra
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) 
  • Pega CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) or LSA (Lead System Architect) certification
  • Proven experience executing complex Pega migrations
  • Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka / streaming integrations)
  • Experience with AWS telephony integrations (IVR, Screen-Pop, chat, softphone)
  • Prior background in the financial services industry (specifically credit cards and collections)
Work Environment 
  • Location: Open to Minneapolis, Denver, Irving, Atlanta and Brookfield, WI
  • Hybrid - 3 days a week in office
Compensation & Benefits 
  • Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $46.00 and $66.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
