Our client is seeking an Auditor Three to join their team! This position is located in San Diego, California.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan internal audits, assess risks, identify controls, conduct testing, document results
- Recommend operational improvements based on audit findings
- Evaluate financial, operational, or compliance processes to identify issues and opportunities
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure audit objectives are met
- Support the audit team by providing accurate and timely reporting
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all audit activities
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices relevant to internal auditing
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Experience supporting Big 4 accounting firms, Fortune 500 companies, or publicly traded companies
- Prior experience in internal or external auditing roles
- Knowledge of audit standards and risk assessment procedures
- Experience with or knowledge of fraud investigation, with certifications like CFE being a plus
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Internal Auditor
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem solving skills
- Effective at teamwork and communication
- Location: Onsite in San Diego, California
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $38.00 and $55.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
