Our client a leading Healthcare & Life Sciences provider is seeking a Data Readiness & Validation Consultant to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in St. Louis, Missouri.
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate the current-state data environment to assess readiness, quality, and structural integrity across multiple data domains
- Identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities related to data validation, ingestion, governance alignment, and usability
- Develop a practical, future-state strategy to improve data readiness and quality across systems and business processes
- Partner with business stakeholders to document workflows, requirements, and current pain points that may exist in manual or disconnected processes
- Help translate informal or undocumented processes into clear frameworks, visuals, and implementation plans that can be communicated to leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, drive alignment, and influence stakeholders toward a common approach to data quality and operational readiness
- Collaborate with broader data governance efforts to ensure alignment between governance, validation, and readiness priorities
- Help define sustainable processes to support future analytics, automation, and AI-driven use cases
- Support organizational change management by helping teams adopt new ways of thinking about data quality and ownership
- Experience evaluating and improving enterprise data environments, particularly around data quality, validation, and readiness
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, including ingestion, transformation, and downstream usability
- Experience identifying process gaps and developing practical, business-oriented strategies for improvement
- Ability to work across both business and technical teams to drive alignment and execution
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience organizing ambiguity and turning ideas into structured plans and roadmaps
- Proven ability to lead meetings, influence decisions, and manage cross-functional initiative
- Exposure to ERP transformation programs or large-scale enterprise system migrations
- Familiarity with ETL / ELT processes and data movement concepts
- Experience with Google Query environments, Databricks, or similar modern data platforms
- Background in data governance, master data, or data management initiatives
- Understanding of how enterprise data readiness impacts AI and advanced analytics capabilities
- Experience working in environments where data exists across both structured systems and manual tools

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $180,000 and $200,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
