Our client is seeking a Program Manager (IT) to join their team! This position is in Chicago, Illinois, with a hybrid schedule (onsite Tuesday through Thursday). This role will support a technology resiliency program within a PMO environment, driving program governance, stakeholder alignment, and execution of large-scale infrastructure initiatives.

Our client is seeking a Program Manager (IT) to join their team! This position is in Chicago, Illinois, with a hybrid schedule (onsite Tuesday through Thursday). This role will support a technology resiliency program within a PMO environment, driving program governance, stakeholder alignment, and execution of large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide program management support within a Program Management Office (PMO) for technology resiliency initiatives
- Facilitate planning sessions with stakeholders to define project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Gather updates from workstream leads and project managers to prepare program-level status reports and executive summaries
- Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations across multiple workstreams
- Support governance processes including steering committee reporting and executive-level communications
- Maintain and update program tracking tools and dashboards (Clarity, ADO, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to enterprise project standards, IT controls, and regulatory requirements
- 10+ years of experience in program or project management within a PMO or portfolio environment
- Experience leading large-scale infrastructure or technology programs with multiple workstreams
- Strong knowledge of program governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Experience working with Waterfall, Agile, and/or Hybrid delivery methodologies
- Experience with PPM tools such as Clarity, ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
- Experience leading application development initiatives
- PMP or Agile (ACP) certification
- Experience building reporting dashboards and program-level metrics
- Experience supporting budget tracking and benefit realization
- Experience designing or improving PMO processes and frameworks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Results-driven with strong execution focus
- Ability to simplify complex information and communicate effectively
- Location: Chicago, IL
- Hybrid – onsite 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
- Work hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $65.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
