Job Summary
Our client, a leading retail & consumer goods provider, is seeking a Development & Market Planning Analyst to join their team. This position is a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension and future conversion opportunities. The role is preferred hybrid with one day per week onsite in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, though strong remote candidates may be considered.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Our client, a leading retail & consumer goods provider, is seeking a Development & Market Planning Analyst to join their team. This position is a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension and future conversion opportunities. The role is preferred hybrid with one day per week onsite in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, though strong remote candidates may be considered.

Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to track development activity, pipeline status, openings, remodels, relocations, closures, and key market KPIs
- Analyze market performance and identify drivers of success, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support market planning strategy and provide recommendations related to new stores, relocations, remodels, and closures
- Integrate and manage data from multiple sources to support business decisions
- Correlate restaurant performance with cross-functional metrics including operations, marketing, finance, HR, digital, and customer data
- Support post-opening reviews and evaluate store performance against expectations
- Assist in identifying growth opportunities, portfolio gaps, and underpenetrated markets
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of experience in business analytics, market analysis, or related fields
- Strong Power BI experience with dashboard creation and data integration
- Experience translating data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Ability to quickly learn new business concepts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- GIS or geospatial analysis experience
- Experience with market planning, site selection, or location analytics
- Python experience
- Background within QSR, retail, hospitality, or highly analytical industries such as banking
- Experience supporting franchise-based business models
- Spanish language proficiency
- Portuguese language proficiency

- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Hybrid – onsite one day per week
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $27.00 and $34.71 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
