Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Data Engineer III to join a growing data engineering team supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics initiatives, and modernization efforts. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, building robust data solutions using Databricks and Apache Spark, and supporting large-scale data processing environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Data Engineering, Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL, along with expertise in building enterprise-grade data architectures and optimizing large-scale data processing systems. This role requires collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions that support data-driven decision making.

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer III to join a growing data engineering team supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics initiatives, and modernization efforts. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, building robust data solutions using Databricks and Apache Spark, and supporting large-scale data processing environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Data Engineering, Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL, along with expertise in building enterprise-grade data architectures and optimizing large-scale data processing systems. This role requires collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions that support data-driven decision making.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
- Build and optimize data architectures using Databricks and Apache Spark
- Develop and maintain data models supporting analytics and reporting initiatives
- Ensure data quality, integrity, performance, and reliability across enterprise platforms
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
- Implement best practices for testing, monitoring, documentation, and data governance
- Optimize large-scale data processing using distributed computing frameworks
- Support cloud-based data platforms and modernization initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production data issues
- Support enterprise data warehousing and data integration efforts
- Participate in platform optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 7+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Strong expertise with SQL, Python, Apache Spark, and Databricks
- Experience building and optimizing large-scale data processing systems
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience supporting enterprise-level data platforms and environments
- Experience with Git and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
- Experience with Teradata or other enterprise data platforms
- Experience working within Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments
- Experience supporting platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $63.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
