Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their WiRE platform team supporting wildfire mitigation and compliance reporting systems! This position is based in Oakland, California, supporting enterprise data and regulatory workflows within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain modern React + TypeScript applications
  • Develop scalable frontend components for: 
    • Data exploration and drill-down workflows 
    • Data validation and audit workflows 
    • Compliance data extraction and submission processes 
  • Integrate frontend applications with structured datasets, ontology objects, and SDK/API-driven data sources 
  • Collaborate with backend engineers and data teams to define data contracts and ensure schema consistency across systems 
  • Design enterprise UI experiences focused on auditability, traceability, and regulatory compliance 
  • Build workflows for file uploads, schema validation, and real-time validation feedback with detailed logging 
  • Support scalable compliance reporting workflows for regulatory submissions and operational reporting 
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and delivery cycles 
  • Partner closely with product managers, PMO stakeholders, SMEs, and data engineering teams 
  • Help improve frontend performance and usability for applications handling large structured datasets 
  • Contribute to technical documentation, reusable component standards, and frontend engineering best practices 
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
  • 6+ years of frontend or full-stack software engineering experience 
  • Strong experience with React in enterprise application environments 
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript 
  • Experience building API-integrated, data-driven frontend applications 
  • Experience consuming and visualizing structured datasets within enterprise systems 
  • Understanding of: 
    • Data modeling concepts 
    • Structured schemas and datasets 
    • Frontend performance optimization for large datasets 
  • Experience building enterprise web applications or internal business platforms 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within Agile engineering teams 
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced technical environments 
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry 
  • Experience integrating applications with SDKs, APIs, or ontology-based systems 
  • Experience building compliance, audit, or regulatory-focused applications 
  • Exposure to data validation or data quality frameworks 
  • Experience developing internal enterprise tools and workflow platforms 
  • Experience working alongside data engineering or analytics teams 
  • Knowledge of scalable frontend architecture and reusable component systems 
  • Exposure to enterprise reporting systems or operational platforms

Compensation & Benefits 
  • Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $60.00 and $85.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
