Accountant

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team! This position is located in Peoria, Illinois. 
 
Duties:

• Review and process invoices on a daily basis
• Manage corporate report outs and data tracking
• Support the monthly closing process, including accruals reporting and accounting reclassifications
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual cost tracking, and update periodic reports
• Ensure high attention to detail and maintain a high degree of accuracy in all tasks
• Execute administrative tasks and special projects for the team related to office and departmental needs
• Collaborate with all levels of the company, as well as external partners and suppliers, to complete tasks effectively
• Manage budgeting, tracking, and proper processing of direct disbursements to outside organizations and agencies

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of cost tracking, closing processes, financial reporting, and reclassifications
• Experience supporting monthly closing activities, including accruals and accounting reclasses
• Familiarity with contract management tasks, statement of work (SOW) development, and requisitioning

The approximate pay range for this position is between $28.46 and $40.65. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
