Our client is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join their team!
Core Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, production-grade data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify underlying business needs, and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop robust batch data pipelines and data products that aggregate, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources
- Own the full lifecycle of data pipeline development, including design, implementation, testing, monitoring, optimization, and support
- Create clear documentation, data lineage artifacts, architecture diagrams, and knowledge-transfer materials to ensure long-term maintainability
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and business teams to deliver actionable insights and drive analytical impact across the organization
- Optimize SQL-based data transformations and data models to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Communicate technical concepts and analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Evaluate stakeholder requests, ask thoughtful follow-up questions, and identify the most effective solution rather than simply executing requirements
- Support data initiatives involving commerce, payments, transaction processing, fraud, and related business domains
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience building and supporting production-level data pipelines in modern cloud data environments
- Advanced SQL skills with experience designing complex transformations and scalable data models
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks in large-scale analytical environments
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar technologies
- Proven ability to build maintainable, well-documented data solutions that can be easily supported by other team members
- Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root business needs and recommend appropriate analytical solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with commerce, payments, transaction, financial, or fraud-related datasets
- Experience developing analytical data products and enabling self-service analytics
- Familiarity with data architecture, data modeling, and data governance best practices
- Experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments
- Experience mentoring team members and driving best practices for data engineering and analytics engineering

- Must be willing to relocate/work onsite (2 weeks’ notice from time of offer accept)
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50.69 and $63.69. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
