Job Summary
Our client, a major theme park and entertainment company, is looking for a Security Engineering Manager to join their Edge Security Site Reliability Engineering team within the US Parks Technology & Digital org, contract through June 2028, onsite M-Th / remote Friday in Bay Lake, FL. The team supports the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience across Attractions, F&B, Resorts, and Merchandise, including the company's core mobile app and voice assistant products, and partners closely with Global Information Security on compliance and audit alignment. The role involves driving DevSecOps culture, designing and supporting security policies and pipelines, automating infrastructure, and troubleshooting across systems, network, and code for large-scale distributed environments. The right candidate has real hands-on WAF and CDN/Akamai experience, not just passing exposure, along with strong CI/CD, config management, and cloud chops across a mix of tools rather than just one.

Core Responsibilities
- Drive DevSecOps culture among peers and developers
- Design, build, and support security policies
- Build and support development pipelines, automate infrastructure and operations
- Create telemetry and monitoring for reliability and security
- Consult with Security Operations and Global InfoSec on secure solutions
- Identify root causes in large-scale distributed systems
- Lead technical projects end to end and ensure smooth delivery
- Support high-visibility launches and brand events
- 5+ years related work experience
- Hands-on WAF experience, extensive web technologies background
- Git source control
- CI tools experience: Gitlab, AWS CodeBuild, or Azure DevOps
- Config management: Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Procedural language proficiency: Python, Perl, Ruby, Java, Go, Rust, or C/C++
- Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- UNIX/Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security
- Akamai or similar CDN/security platform, hands-on not just adjacent exposure
- Applied observability tooling experience
- Proficient in agile environments
- Experience with high-demand releases and brand launches
- PCI audit and standards experience
- Comfortable owning security policy design and hands-on pipeline/infrastructure work, not just one side
- Able to troubleshoot and root-cause issues across systems, network, and code under pressure
- Proactive about continuous learning and staying current on emerging tech
- Collaborative across Security Operations, Global InfoSec, and cross-functional brand teams
- Capable of leading technical projects independently and driving them to delivery
- Location: Bay Lake, FL
- Onsite Monday-Thursday, remote Friday
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $51.00 and $72.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
