Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Security Analyst to join a security team responsible for maintaining compliance across a lab infrastructure environment. This role focuses on validating security compliance across hardware, software, and networking components used in lab systems. The team follows established enterprise security standards and works closely with internal teams to identify, report, and track compliance findings through automated scanning tools.

This is a unique security role that blends security operations, auditing, and technical analysis. The team is currently in a heavy auditing phase, so candidates should be comfortable working with compliance data, reviewing scan results, and communicating findings to internal stakeholders.
 
Duties:
  • Monitor and review security scan results across lab infrastructure including hardware, software, and networking equipment
  • Analyze compliance scoring outputs generated by automated security scanners and track findings within Ivanti
  • Notify and report security compliance gaps to internal teams responsible for remediation
  • Work with security scanning tools to validate that lab environments meet enterprise security standards
  • Query and analyze compliance data stored in databases to support reporting and tracking efforts
  • Develop or maintain basic automation scripts, primarily in Python, to support backend processes tied to security tools
  • Support ongoing audit initiatives by gathering compliance evidence and assisting with reporting activities
  • Partner with internal teams to maintain visibility into security posture across lab systems and infrastructure
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related technical role
  • Experience working with security scanning tools or vulnerability/compliance scanning platforms
  • Familiarity with scripting, preferably Python, for automation or backend tool integration
  • Working knowledge of SQL or experience querying databases for reporting or analysis
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure including networking, Linux systems, and hardware environments
  • Ability to analyze compliance data and communicate findings clearly to technical stakeholders

The approximate salary range for this position is between $56,000 and $80,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
