Data Engineer

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team! This position is remote. 
 
Duties:

• Contribute to the design of scalable solutions for big data and advanced analytics platforms, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements
• Configure and develop data pipelines to efficiently move, process, and optimize data assets across systems
• Develop technical solutions leveraging big data and cloud-based technologies to support analytics and data-driven decision-making
• Provide technical support throughout all phases of testing, deployment, and post-deployment incident management
• Resolve moderately complex technical issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex problems to senior team members or appropriate stakeholders

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of IT and business/industry experience in developing data or software applications, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support
• 2+ years of related professional experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trust and effective working relationships
• Demonstrated strength in conceptual thinking, strategic planning, problem-solving, technical analysis, and data interpretation
• Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Experience with API development and integration
• Proficiency in working with diverse data sources and complex data environments
• Experience supporting projects and products using SAP BTP platform, particularly datasphere capabilities

The approximate pay range for this position is between $49.00 and $70.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
