Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with Prompt Engineering expertise to join a highly innovative AI team building and supporting an enterprise-scale internal AI assistant used across the organization. This role will focus on designing and optimizing prompts that power large language models and AI-driven productivity tools.
The ideal candidate will have a strong data science background, experience working with LLMs or AI assistants, and the ability to think critically about how prompts influence AI behavior and outputs. This individual will collaborate closely with engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to refine AI capabilities and deliver impactful solutions across the enterprise.
This position is located onsite near Denver, Colorado.
Duties:

Duties:
- Design, develop, and optimize prompts used by internal AI assistants
- Evaluate and refine prompt strategies to improve the quality, accuracy, and reliability of LLM responses
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support backend assistant capabilities such as web search, file search, and code interpretation
- Support the development of LLM-based classification models used to categorize and analyze internal data
- Conduct experimentation and A/B testing to measure prompt effectiveness and model performance
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify AI use cases and improve assistant functionality
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Prompt Engineering
- Experience working with or building AI assistants or conversational AI systems
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Experience conducting experiments such as A/B testing
