Data Governance Lead

Job Title 
Our client is seeking a Data Governance Lead to join their team! This position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
  
Core Responsibilities 

• Lead the data governance blueprinting process, working with cross-functional teams to define enterprise data requirements and governance standards
• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance
• Establish and maintain data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models across business and technology teams
• Partner with stakeholders to define data definitions, metadata standards, and data quality rules
• Support the development of data governance reporting and analytics to track governance effectiveness and data quality improvements
• Collaborate with IT, analytics, and business teams to ensure alignment between governance practices and enterprise data strategy
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and implement long-term governance improvements
• Support governance initiatives related to enterprise data platforms and SAP environments, including documentation and data standards

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
• 4+ years of experience with Data Governance or Data Management
• Experience supporting data governance reporting and analytics initiatives
• Strong collaboration skills working with business and technical stakeholders
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into governance standards

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) 

• Experience with SAP environments
• Experience with SAP IS-U
• Prior experience in the utilities or energy industry
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks or data quality tools

Compensation & Benefits 

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $56.00 and $80.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
