Our client a leading Health Care & Life Sciences provider is seeking a IT - Global Master Data Consultant to join their team! This position is remote.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing and propagating processes for business users to access data using analytical tools to create and implement value-driven business solutions
- Train and advise operations teams in processes
- Influence the changes needed to establish a culture of quality and be a strategic thinker and problem solver
- Support business and functional leaders to develop and implement actions that enhance the capacity of people and processes within the GBS functional organization
- Develop and deliver reports designed to translate data into actionable business intelligence
- Develop and implement reporting and/or process automation projects
- Design KPI scoring dashboards for GBS regional trading partners
- Consult with stakeholders to determine automation needs and define solutions to meet requirements
- Identify, retrieve, query, and aggregate internal databases and external data sources to support reporting and analysis operations
- Foster and leverage working relationships with the GBS and Global Data Analytics & Insights team, as well as with reporting consultants in the other regions to ensure consistency of approach and message for implementing quality reporting methods and tools in GBS
- Promote the standardization and documentation of processes and reports in the GBS
- Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of key performance reports (KPIs) used to evaluate GBS performance and the level of compliance
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance or related quantitative field required
- 3+ years of experience in quantitative/analytical area, preferably in database administration
- Accounting or financial knowledge in the Shared Services Centre environment
- Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, SQL required
- Working knowledge of database software and systems used in financial reporting such as SAP, Business Warehouse, etc.
- Ability to understand and develop accurate queries to extract insights from complex relational data models and aggregated data for strategic reporting
- Experience in analysis and report development using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Knime, Alteryx, Power apps or similar tools
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions and understanding of OTC, ATR, PTP processes will be an advantage

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $56.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
