Kubernetes System Engineer

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Kubernetes System Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Orlando, Florida. 
 
Duties:

• Manage provision and support containerized infrastructure in hybrid environments
• Support business critical applications including web, mobile, POS, reservations, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design resilient systems
• Automate operational tasks and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible
• Troubleshoot and optimize systems for high availability and performance
• Support incident response and proactively reduce system vulnerabilities
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain documentation and monitoring standards

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent hands-on experience
• 5+ years of experience
• Hands-on Kubernetes engineering experience
• Experience in large-scale, enterprise production environments
• Familiarity with DevSecOps best practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern software deployment practices
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams
• AWS certifications or strong practical knowledge
• Experience in guest-facing industries such as: cruise, travel, hospitality
• Familiarity with ITIL practices

The approximate pay range for this position is between $65.00 and $85.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
