Business Analyst
Job Summary
Our client, a leading entertainment and technology organization, is seeking a Business Analyst to support technology programs and projects through financial analysis, project controls, reporting, and business analysis. This role will partner closely with finance, delivery, engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders to manage project budgets, forecasts, costs, and financial reporting.

Core Responsibilities
- Manage and track financials, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls across multiple technology projects and teams
- Prepare monthly project forecasts, analyze actuals and variances, and support project financial review meetings
- Use SAP to pull financial reports, export data, monitor project performance, and support accounting-related activities
- Develop and maintain complex Excel models and reports using large datasets, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and IF formulas
- Coordinate financial and transactional adjustments with Finance, including accruals, purchase orders, journal entries, and general ledger activities
- Support project scoping, funding artifacts, resource planning, vendor engagement, Statements of Work, and contract monitoring
- Identify financial, data, and process issues, develop solutions, and communicate project status, risks, and forecasted budget impacts to business partners and management
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with technology program/project controls, financial analysis, or project financial management
- Moderate to advanced SAP experience, including pulling reports and exporting financial data/actuals
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, IF formulas, modeling, report building, and handling large datasets
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and financial reporting across multiple projects
- Experience with accruals, purchase orders, Statements of Work (SOWs), general ledger, and journal entries
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience partnering with technical and engineering teams in a project-oriented environment
- Experience performing business analysis, project coordination, and technical documentation
- Strong financial modeling and financial analysis experience
- Experience with resource planning and translating resource plans into financial forecasts
- Experience coordinating vendor engagement, RFPs, SOWs, staffing, and contract monitoring
- Experience with audit/remediation tracking and monitoring annual audit requirements
- Ability to adapt communication and reporting styles for different audiences, including senior management and business partners

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $42.00 and $60.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
