Senior Data Analyst
Job Summary
Our Financial Services client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their team!
Core Responsibilities
- Act as key data lead to leverage versatile technical capabilities to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data products, which enable self-service by data consumers
- Re-engineer data processes and migrate the processes from on-premises to Amazon Web Services
- Explore industry trends, tools, and techniques in Open Source/Big Data/Digital domain Business Intelligence
- Execute and monitor data processes that deliver critical data to partners and regulators
- Develop prototypes and implement new business intelligence tools, solutions, and techniques
- Assist in development of standards and policies for business intelligence frameworks Data Management
- Evaluate data management, data quality and data access processes for gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities; provide recommendations for improvement
- Implement solutions and processes for management and governance across data quality metrics, metadata, lineage, data access rights, and business definitions
- Develop data mapping to enable data end users to more easily transition to using new systems
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- Python/PySpark: Experience using Databricks or Jupyter Notebooks
- SQL: Experienced in data manipulation and data retrieval
- AWS: Experience with S3 for data consumption
- Snowflake: Hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing
- Linux/Unix: Comfort with the basics of shell scripting to navigate and automate
- Dashboarding: Experience with any visual reporting tool (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, etc.)
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Proactive Learner: can pick up new tools/processes on the fly
- Ability to take a problem and run with it without constant hand-holding

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $32.00 and $45.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
