Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in Celebration, Florida.
Duties:
- Support senior engineers in daily maintenance and operation of backend infrastructure for high-traffic e-commerce and itinerary platforms
- Control system throughput and manage release changes to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS environments, including EC2 and Application Load Balancers
- Utilize Terraform for environment provisioning and maintain Helm Charts for deployment requirements
- Implement and update Akamai or Cloudflare configurations to optimize web content delivery
- Monitor for threats and anomalies, perform deep-dive root cause analysis, and resolve system outages independently
- 5+ years of experience in backend infrastructure, web platform sustainment, or systems engineering
- Strong command of Linux environments
- Hands-on experience managing EC2, ALBs, and cloud infrastructure
- Practical experience with Terraform and Helm Charts
- Experience managing Akamai or Cloudflare
- Experience with containerization and orchestration
- Experience with Queue-it or similar virtual waiting room systems
- Background supporting high-traffic customer-facing websites
