Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Data Scientist who will create, maintain, groom backlog of product features and work with product owner(s) to prioritize them. This opportunity is located in Basking Ridge, NJ!
Duties:
- Create and Own Roadmaps and ensure teams are aligned to the agreed commitments to business
- Ensure key features are delivered on timely fashion and communicate with all stakeholders of the product
- Have clear understand industry best practices applied in Product Management and data products and apply them to the products assigned to deliver and industrialize
- Propose and ideate use cases for the data products they own and work with business to estimate business value they can bring and prioritize them in partnership
- Design and create compelling PowerPoint decks and Google Slides to present complex data-driven narratives
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team’s knowledge base
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a decision science, analytics, or consulting role
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker etc.
- Expertise in PowerPoint and Google slides presentation design and deck creation
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP) and data warehousing solutions
