Fraud Analyst

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Fraud Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Overland Park, Kansas. 
 
Duties:

• Conduct detailed fraud investigations involving customer authentication, identity theft, and suspicious transactions
• Analyze internal and external data sources to confirm or mitigate fraud risk
• Evaluate fraud trends and identify patterns related to fraudulent orders and identity theft
• Take inbound calls and referrals from fraud victims, providing clear guidance and resolution support
• Research and escalate cases to appropriate internal teams for customer verification or legal action when necessary
• Investigate and respond to fraud escalations in a timely and professional manner
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of fraud prevention policies and procedures
• Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to improve fraud detection and prevention efforts
• Collaborate with team members via Slack and other internal communication tools
• Review documentation and validate customer identities using multiple systems

Desired Skills/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years experience in fraud, customer service, or call center environment
• 1+ years experience working in a Windows-based computer environment
• Ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers
• Strong English verbal communication skills
• Strong phone presence and typing proficiency
• Ability to analyze data and draw accurate conclusions
• Experience reviewing documentation for verification purposes
• Prior experience in customer service or high-volume call center environments
• Exposure to fraud prevention, identity verification, or compliance processes

The approximate pay range for this position is between $11.00 and $17.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
