Security Governance and Trust Analyst

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Security Governance and Trust Analyst to join their team! This position is located Remote in Seattle, Washington. 
 
Duties:

• Serve as the technical owner for inbound security inquiries, performing first-line analysis, validation, and triage
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of security questionnaires through SecurityPal, ensuring knowledge base accuracy and coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to document and validate controls
• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) for the Customer Trust portal, safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of customer-facing documentation
• Co-author and maintain technical briefs on product security topics, including data privacy, AI governance, audit telemetry, and hardened configuration recommendations
• Identify workflow bottlenecks within the security request pipeline and implement automation or documentation-as-code solutions to increase throughput
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams, clearly defining security boundaries and redirecting requests that fall outside established policies
• Shadow Senior Security Engineers on Customer Trust consultations, with the opportunity to independently lead customer discussions around IT operations and security posture

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in Security Operations, GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance), Technical Support, or a related technical role
• Strong working knowledge of global security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and FedRAMP
• Experience with SecurityPal, Trust Centers, or GRC platforms (highly preferred)
• Ability to interpret technical security controls and translate them into clear, customer-ready documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including navigating technical tooling and security logs to provide data-backed responses
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security topics to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to uphold defined rules of engagement while maintaining a collaborative, solution-oriented approach across teams

The approximate pay range for this position is between $28.00 and $41.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
