Our client is seeking a Reliability Engineer, Entry-Level to join their team! This position is located in Urbandale, Iowa.
Duties:
- Perform routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of automated equipment such as: PLCs, HMIs, industrial robots, conveyors, sensors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, instrumentation
- Rapidly diagnose breakdowns, implement corrective actions, and document failures to prevent repeat events
- Assist in commissioning, calibration, and testing of new or upgraded automation systems under direction
- Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and control drawings
- Use hand tools and electrical test equipment (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, etc.) safely and effectively
- 0+ years experience; internships and coops count
- Relevant technical experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or controls gained through experience or education
- Basic familiarity with PLC platforms, HMIs, and ladder logic concepts
- Practical experience or coursework with electrical components, motors, sensors, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Comfortable using diagnostic/test equipment and following electrical/mechanical schematics
