Reliability Engineer, Entry-Level

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Reliability Engineer, Entry-Level to join their team! This position is located in Urbandale, Iowa. 
 
Duties:

• Perform routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of automated equipment such as: PLCs, HMIs, industrial robots, conveyors, sensors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, instrumentation
• Rapidly diagnose breakdowns, implement corrective actions, and document failures to prevent repeat events
• Assist in commissioning, calibration, and testing of new or upgraded automation systems under direction
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and control drawings
• Use hand tools and electrical test equipment (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, etc.) safely and effectively

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 0+ years experience; internships and coops count
• Relevant technical experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or controls gained through experience or education
• Basic familiarity with PLC platforms, HMIs, and ladder logic concepts
• Practical experience or coursework with electrical components, motors, sensors, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Comfortable using diagnostic/test equipment and following electrical/mechanical schematics

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $60,000 - $68,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
