Duties:
- Work closely with application and technology teams from across the company
- Monitor the end-to-end digital and physical guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives
- Report to the Manager, Systems Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related work experience within Kubernetes
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware, Kubernetes
- Technical experience in consumer and employee facing enterprise systems
- Ability to troubleshoot applications and systems
- Expertise in maintaining web, caching, and queuing technologies in large high traffic environments
- Expertise in architecting highly scalable and highly available systems
- Expertise in a public cloud such as: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Proficiency with containerization
- Proficiency in a programming language such as: Powershell, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Proficiency with distributed version control systems with Continuous Integration/Deployment techniques
- Proficiency supporting SQL & Oracle technologies
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- Proficiency in Kubernetes & Rancher, VMWare, DevSecOps, and Automation, with a proactive demeanor towards continuous learning and skill development, and an interest in mastering emerging data engineering tools and methodologies
- RedHat OpenShift experience preferred
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
