Our client is seeking multiple Machine Learning Engineers to support enterprise AI/ML initiatives focused on model development, operational support, and cloud-based machine learning delivery efforts. These fully remote positions will support the design, development, deployment, scaling, and maintenance of machine learning solutions supporting both business-as-usual operations and strategic AI programs. Candidates should have experience working within Azure environments and supporting machine learning workflows in collaborative engineering teams.

Core Responsibilities
Junior Machine Learning Engineer
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of AI/ML platform and MLOps infrastructure supporting deployment, management, and monitoring of ML models, LLMs, and AI-driven services
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software engineers to integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into production applications
- Support and maintain automated workflows and pipelines for model training, inference, evaluation, retraining, deployment, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and help resolve issues across models, data pipelines, inference services, and supporting infrastructure
- Help ensure scalability, security, cost controls, and observability across ML and AI workloads
- Contribute to process and operational documentation and stay current on MLOps, LLMOps, and AI platform operations best practices
- Support CI/CD processes and deployment workflows using GitHub
- Build and maintain ML workflows within Databricks environments
- Utilize Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI services to support model lifecycle activities
- Assist with document processing and extraction workflows using Azure Document Intelligence
- Participate in troubleshooting, model validation, testing, and optimization activities
- Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML platform and MLOps infrastructure
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into production systems
- Implement and enforce best practices across MLOps and LLMOps, including model and prompt lifecycle management
- Design and operate reliable inference and orchestration patterns for AI systems supporting batch, real-time, and event-driven workloads
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across models, AI services, data pipelines, and infrastructure
- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation
- Support escalations and mentor junior engineers
- Evaluate emerging AI platform technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with business needs and platform strategy
- Build, scale, and deploy machine learning models for enterprise document extraction use cases
- 2+ years of experience for Junior candidates and 5+ years for Senior candidates in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Engineering, or AI-focused development
- Experience working within Microsoft Azure environments
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience using object-oriented programming patterns
- Experience working across multiple programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or .NET
- Hands-on experience supporting AI/ML platforms, including deployment and operation of ML models and LLM-based services
- Working knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, and AIOps practices
- Experience implementing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML and AI workloads
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD processes
- Experience building and maintaining ML workflows within Databricks
- Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry (Azure AI Studio) and Azure Document Intelligence
- Understanding of machine learning model development and deployment concepts
- Experience with data pipelines, transformations, and performance monitoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale AI/ML deployment initiatives
- Experience with document extraction and form processing workflows
- Experience deploying scalable ML solutions in cloud-native environments
- Familiarity with monitoring for model drift, latency, and operational failures
- Experience supporting prompt-based and API-driven AI systems
- Experience with governance, feature management, and model versioning practices
- Experience with real-time and event-driven AI workloads
- Exposure to infrastructure automation and orchestration patterns
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical initiatives
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
- Strong attention to detail and operational excellence
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced Agile environments
- Commitment to scalability, security, and reliability best practices

- Location: Remote- Must be US BASED
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50 and 92 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
