Our client is seeking a dynamic Cloud Engineer to join their team! You will be a part of an initiative to scale cloud capabilities across our client’s organization. This role is span a variety of duties including support, improving scalability, building new capabilities, and architecture.
Duties:
- Serve as a point of contact for cloud and infrastructure-related projects, questions and issues
- Participate in the design, implementation and administration of cloud-based platform solutions working alongside Cloud Architects and other teams (e.g., Web, Database, Storage, Networking, IAM) to ensure that initial and anticipated future business requirements are presented
- Partners with Information Security to ensure that the proposed infrastructure solution complies with our cloud security standards
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of professional IT experience including 2+ years of support experience within a related cloud technology such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience working within an infrastructure support role, i.e. networking storage, etc.
- Understanding and experience working with firewalls
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, etc.)
- Preference (not required): DevOps, CI/CD, KQL, MS Azure Certification
