Job Summary
Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Systems Architect to join their team! This position is a 25-week contract opportunity located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Systems Architect will support the design, implementation, and security of cloud-native applications and data platforms across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Systems Architect to join their team! This position is a 25-week contract opportunity located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Systems Architect will support the design, implementation, and security of cloud-native applications and data platforms across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud and data security solutions in regulated environments
- Architect and automate CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments
- Collaborate with cloud engineering, infrastructure, application, and risk management teams
- Integrate security controls throughout the software development lifecycle
- Support cloud-native applications and data pipelines across AWS and Azure environments
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, platform, and security-related issues
- Assist with the implementation of identity, access management, and encryption solutions
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies, cloud security, or data engineering
- Experience supporting end-to-end application development and deployment
- Experience working in multi-cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.)
- Experience with AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Files, and cloud-based data platforms
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Experience with encryption, secret management, and data protection controls
- Knowledge of securing data at rest and data in transit
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with microservices and serverless architectures
- Cloud security and architecture certifications
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, OSCP, or Data Engineer certifications
- Experience supporting highly regulated environments
- Self-starter with strong critical thinking abilities
- Ability to solve complex technical and security challenges
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
- Continuous learning mindset and passion for cloud security
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
- Hybrid work environment
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $83.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
