Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support enterprise Platform Engineering initiatives within a large-scale Azure Cloud environment. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, cloud platform support, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Azure cloud operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, and cloud infrastructure troubleshooting.

Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support enterprise Platform Engineering initiatives within a large-scale Azure Cloud environment. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, cloud platform support, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Azure cloud operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, and cloud infrastructure troubleshooting.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines utilizing GitLab Runners
- Partner with application teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement platform enhancements
- Convert existing Azure DevOps pipelines into Terraform-based IaC pipelines
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Azure resources including: Azure Data Factory, Virtual Networks (VNETs), Route Tables, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Purview, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault (AKV), Azure Subscriptions
- Build and maintain custom virtual machine images using Packer
- Deploy and support Azure Windows and Linux Virtual Machines, Scale Sets, and Load Balancers
- Deploy and troubleshoot Azure App Services, Function Apps, and Automation Accounts
- Support production releases during non-business hours as needed
- Create and manage Jira tickets and ServiceNow change requests
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud platform performance and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions
- Experience working with Azure cloud platforms in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including: TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls, Routing
- Experience supporting large-scale hosting and cloud infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, authentication, authorization, and threat protection
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues

- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $65.00 and $77.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
